Terms & Conditions.

Please read these terms carefully before booking or receiving plumbing services from Westside Plumbing.

By booking or receiving plumbing services from Westside Plumbing, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms are designed to protect both you as the client and us as the service provider, ensuring a clear, honest, and professional experience every time.

Definitions

  • "Company" refers to Westside Plumbing, owned and operated by Orlando Martinez, serving Modesto, CA and surrounding areas.
  • "Client" refers to any individual or property owner who contacts, books, or receives plumbing services from the Company.
  • "Services" refers to all plumbing-related work provided by the Company, including but not limited to water heater repair and replacement, sewer line, water line, gas line work, and any related on-site diagnosis or repair.

Service Scope

The Company will provide plumbing services as discussed and agreed upon during the initial diagnosis and quote. This includes the specific repair or replacement scope, materials required, and the agreed price before work begins.

Any additional tasks or repairs discovered during the service visit that were not part of the original scope will be communicated to the Client before proceeding, and may incur additional charges.

Booking & Scheduling

  • Services are booked via phone, email, or our online request form.
  • Orlando will personally follow up to confirm your appointment date and time.
  • We make every reasonable effort to accommodate your preferred schedule, but availability cannot always be guaranteed.
  • A confirmation will be provided once your appointment is scheduled.

Pricing & Payment

Westside Plumbing operates on an honest, upfront pricing model. All prices are provided after a thorough on-site diagnosis — before any work begins. We do not give ballpark quotes over the phone.

  • Full payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Accepted payment methods include cash, check, or digital transfer — to be confirmed at time of booking.
  • Past customers are eligible for our 5% loyalty discount.

Additional charges may apply for jobs involving unusual access conditions, hazardous materials, or out-of-scope work discovered on-site. The Client will be informed before any additional work proceeds.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Clients must provide at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling requests.
  • Late cancellations (under 24 hours) may incur a cancellation or trip fee.
  • If the Company must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, the Client will be contacted promptly and an alternative appointment will be offered at no additional cost.

Client Obligations

To ensure a safe and efficient service visit, the Client agrees to:

  • Provide safe, unrestricted access to the property and affected plumbing areas.
  • Disclose any known hazards, pre-existing plumbing conditions, or access limitations before the service visit.
  • Ensure that a responsible adult (18+) is present during the service visit.

The Company is not responsible for any delays or inability to complete work caused by unsafe, inaccessible, or undisclosed conditions at the property.

Health & Safety

The safety of our technician is a priority. The Company reserves the right to decline or pause service if conditions are deemed unsafe, including but not limited to:

  • Exposure to hazardous materials, sewage backflow, or gas leaks requiring emergency protocols.
  • Aggressive animals or hostile individuals on the premises.
  • Structurally unsafe areas that must be accessed to complete the work.

Tools & Equipment

Westside Plumbing arrives fully equipped with professional-grade tools and materials required to complete the job as diagnosed. All parts and materials used are sourced to meet or exceed industry standards.

If the Client requests specific materials or brands outside our standard supply, the Company will make reasonable efforts to accommodate. However, we cannot be held responsible for product performance or failures related to Client-specified materials.

Damage & Liability

Westside Plumbing is fully insured and takes every precaution to protect your property during service visits. In the unlikely event of damage caused directly by our work:

  • Damage must be reported to the Company within 24 hours of service completion.
  • Pre-existing conditions, normal wear and tear, or structural deficiencies already present at the property are not the Company's responsibility.
  • Liability is limited to the documented replacement value of the damaged item or the cost of the service, whichever is less.

Satisfaction Guarantee

We stand behind every job we complete. If you are not fully satisfied with the work performed:

Contact us within 24 hours of service completion and we will return to address the issue at no additional charge. Our goal is 100% satisfaction on every single job — no exceptions.

Privacy & Confidentiality

  • All personal information and property details shared with Westside Plumbing are kept strictly confidential and used only to provide your requested services.
  • Our technician will not photograph, record, or share any content from inside your property without your explicit written permission.

Termination of Services

The Company reserves the right to decline or discontinue service under the following circumstances:

  • Non-payment or repeated failure to settle outstanding invoices.
  • Unsafe, hostile, or hazardous conditions at the property.
  • Repeated late cancellations or no-shows without notice.

The Client may cancel or decline future services at any time. Any services already completed are subject to payment per the agreed terms.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of California. Westside Plumbing operates in compliance with all applicable California Contractors State License Board (CSLB) regulations under license classifications C36 and C42.

Any disputes arising from services provided will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes may be brought before the appropriate small claims court in Stanislaus County, California.

Agreement

By contacting, booking, or accepting services from Westside Plumbing, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions in full. No signature is required — engaging our services constitutes acceptance.
